Dr. Abraham "Abe" Lewis was the chief of the Parakinesiology Department for the Federal Bureau of Control.

Background[]
Dr. Lewis fought with Dr. Harrington, the head of the Parapsychology Department, over which of their departments would receive more funding from the research budget. Seeking to gain an edge, Lewis attempted to suck up to Dr. Darling, badmouthing his rival's department and offering a bottle of single malt with his funding request.[1] This did not work out. Jealous, he threatened to inform the bureau operations oversight committee about Dr. Underhill's large budget, believing that Underhill was falsifying her research and Darling was accepting her requests simply due to their relationship.[2] Nevertheless, Lewis was still on Dr. Darling's list of potential staff for assignment to the new Dimensional Research department.[3]
Lewis was also concerned with the houseplants found around the Research Sector, and feared that the Bureau was being invaded by plants due to no employees being able to recall their arrival. He also questioned the necessity of singing to the plants, though he complimented the voice of the janitor who did so.[4]
Dr. Lewis did not survive the Hiss invasion, being corrupted by the Hiss and becoming a Hiss Warped.
Events of Control[]
When Jesse Faden travels through the Research Sector to secure Dr. Darling's HRA Lab, Parakinesiology Chief Lewis blocks her way in the Ritual Division, and must be defeated in order to claim the Ritual Division Control Point.[5]
