The Ash Act is an regulation that is enforced by the FBC, this act prosecutes individuals and groups who take illegal advantage of the paranatural world. There have been many breaches to the Ash Act. Emil Hartman was found in breach of the act when he came to the FBC proposing an alliance, as the FBC discovered that Hartman had been kidnapping many artists in his lodge located in Bright Falls in order to use the lake's power for himself and he was soon arrested by the Bureau. When the FBC accidentally created an altered item known as the VHS Cassette Tape, any similar experiments were soon prohibited as such experiments would breach the Ash Act. The Prime Candidate Program was also found to be breaching the Ash Act when an ethic investigation was conducted by William Kirklund and Patricia Lewis.
