Control Lore Theory
I'm not active on the Control Wiki anymore, but I would like to share a short essay I wrote several years ago in which I postulated a theory explaining the supernatural lore of Control through the lens of hypothetical science and evolution. I haven't revisited this theory in too much detail, so consider it speculation from my past self that I haven't retrospectively evaluated apart from minor edits.

Map Tester role available upon request
Starting June 26, 2022, any user with over 50 content related edits are able to request the Map Tester role. This role allows you to create interactive maps, with points that can be linked to pages in this wiki. Once you have the permission to edit Maps, you can find the link "Interactive Maps" in the Explore menu of the top navigation, or you can directly navigate to the creation tool by visiting Special:AllMaps on this wiki, where you can create your own Map and find a list of every Map that exists on this wiki. Misusing these rights will result in your Map Tester role being removed and a possible block.
July 2020 Wiki Update
Hello everyone, it's Holly again. It's been a while. How is everybody?
It's safe to say Control has been a huge success, with tons of new fans having flocked to the wiki over the past year. Our community has grown enormously, and reviews are all calling Control one of the best games of 2019. A lot of my personal theories about the game have been confirmed, and even exceeded to dimensions I never could have imagined. I'm happy to see everyone working together to keep this wiki going, particularly those who took the insane effort to transcribe and upload all of the game's hundreds of collectibles, as well as those in The Foundation. Control Wiki Post-Launch Guidelines
It's finally here.
Last week, Control finally launched worldwide, and already our fantastic wiki has been exploding as a result. Jesse's page alone has gotten more than 13,000 views in the past week - which is, needless to say, huge! As a result, we've gained a lot of new fans here in the Control community, and a lot of new contributors to the wiki as well. I'll talk in future blog posts about the game itself, but for now, because of the exponential growth of the wiki, I feel the need to lay down a couple of guidelines for how pages should be edited and created moving forward. This will help keep the wiki simple and consistent, which in turn will help everyone in navigating it.

Control Wiki 1st Anniversary Blog
It has now been one year since Control was first announced at E3 2018, and moreover, it's also the first anniversary of the Control Wiki! It's pretty safe to say we've been here since quite literally day one, and personally, I find a lot of pride in how much this wiki has grown in the community, and excitement in how far we still have to go. Contol won't be released for another 74 days or so, according to the cute little countdown on our home page, but we're still on the home stretch for the game's release. Once it comes out, it's obvious we'll have our work cut out for us here on the wiki to fill in all of the new information. Welcome to the marvelous month of May, FBC agents! Control is just under four months away, and the hype has only grown, with both old Remedy fans and new ones eagerly anticipating the mysteries to be discovered on August 27. December 2018 Wiki Update
2019 draws closer and closer, and with it, Control's unknown release date rapidly approaches. It could be anywhere from January to December, but the optimistic fans among us are hoping for a release sometime in the spring. The past few months have been an exciting stream of updates and revelations from Remedy, and we've learned more about Control than ever before in that time. Perhaps one of the most important was Control's main cast reveals: James McCaffrey - the legendary Max Payne - as Zachariah Trench , and Matthew Porretta , known as the voice of Alan Wake , as Dr. Casper Darling. Two months after the announcement of Remedy Entertainment's newest game title Control, we've been given a lot of exciting information, and there's also a lot of unanswered questions lingering in the air.
