Bloomington is located in Illinois and was the location of the Eagle Limited AWE. A paracriminal group derailed a train which resulted in 62 casualties and numerous injuries, the FBC arrived minutes later after and discovered equipment left by the group and they found a single undamaged train car which displayed an altered state when entered was transported to the Investigations Sector in the Oldest House.

The city of Bloomington is the county seat of McLean County, Illinois. It is a real life twin city with Normal, Illinois, a name not unlike Ordinary. Bloomington is jokingly referred to as "just south of Normal" by its residents.
