Dr. Yoshimi Tokui's Guided Imagery Experience is a side mission in Control. It's acquired by finding the Dr. Tokui Tapes collectible next to Isolation Pod #4 in the Extrasensory Lab in the Research Sector.
This mission was formerly a PS4 exclusive, but as of the Control 1.30 Update (March 2025), it became available to everyone with Control Ultimate Edition.
Synopsis[]
Jesse discovers the existence of guided imagery experience tapes created by a man named Dr. Yoshimi Tokui. She discovers that the tapes have been taken and finds them. She plays the first tape in which she must speak to some trees on a beach. After speaking to the trees, forklifts come and Jesse must power them down. She does so and the translator says how this was a lesson. The tape soon ends. She then plays the second tape in which she has to chase a vending machine to get her "favorite soda in the whole world". She catches up to the vending machine and gets her soda but discovers that it is not her favorite soda. The new soda becomes her new favorite soda though. The translator says how this was a "soda lesson". After that, Jesse finds a dead body which the translator says to touch it. She does and more dead bodies appear in which she must bury them. After burying the bodies, the translator says how burying the bodies was a lesson in how the world is random and cold. The tape soon ends after that.

- This mission was formerly exclusive to the PlayStation 4 Digital Deluxe version of the game or by buying the Season Pass. As of the March 2025 Control 1.30 update, the mission has been opened to anyone playing Control Ultimate Edition.
- In promotional materials, it is also known as Isolation.
- Despite saying how you have unlocked the Astral Dive Outfit, checking the Control Point in the Central Executive shows that you do not have it.
- Even though Dr. Yoshimi Tokui has captions, they will only display his name and not what he says.
