Agent Fischer was an investigative agent for the Federal Bureau of Control.
Biography[]
Sometime in or before 2017, Fischer volunteered to go into the Oceanview Motel on a stakeout, and stayed inside for nearly a week. He set up multiple methods of surveillance, including sliding cameras under each room door and using motion detectors and tripwire-activated cameras in the lobby area. However, he was unable to record any conclusive evidence, with his equipment even being damaged, and he came to believe that the Motel was making fun of him, becoming obsessed with getting results from it.
On day six of his stakeout, Fischer recorded a log detailing his frustrations while hiding in one of the Motel's rooms, but was interrupted by an unknown disturbance. Attempting to record the presence by sliding a camera out into the hallway, Fischer was instead confronted by the presence as it pounded on the door of his room.[1]
Fischer and his equipment were later extracted from the Motel by other agents, although Fischer himself had seemingly gone insane, and most of his evidence was found to be unusable. The majority of the footage he took in the Motel was even revealed to be of himself. However, the footage he took of the presence in the hallway was found to show a seemingly human shadow, though it was too blurry to determine anything else despite attempts by employee Tom to raise its quality. Meanwhile, David Gleeson took Fischer's insanity as a further reason to "stay the fuck out of the Motel."[2]
Notes[]
In the German language voiceover, Fischer is voiced by Branko Tomovic.
