Grayson worked for the Investigations Sector, and was highly critical of interim Head of Investigations Remy Denis over the condition of the sector in 2019. The department lost most of its staff to the Shaded Hartman containment breach in 2017 and inter-department transfers after former head William Kirklund's resignation in 2019. Knowing this, Grayson complained that they no longer had enough people to fulfill Denis' planned Task Force for Altered World Event cases, and that the remaining staff were already overworked. They also complained that the Sector Head Office was not large enough to fit their entire department, and that they were becoming fed up with Denis for failing to acknowledge their demands for a larger workspace.[1]
