Agent Hewitt was an investigative agent for the Federal Bureau of Control.

Biography[]

Hewitt was assigned to the Investigations Sector under William Kirklund, and was part of the team investigating the Eagle Limited AWE. After a suspect believed to be part of the perpetrating paracriminal group was arrested and held for questioning, Hewitt and fellow agent Guthrie conducted an interrogation of the suspect which was harsh - even violating the Paracriminal Rights Act - but effective; the suspect was locked in a cell without food for two days, upon which he confessed to being part of the group and informed on other members for his freedom.[1]

Despite its results, the interrogation's violation of Bureau policy caused Hewitt to be suspended from the case and placed on desk duty by Kirklund. Angered, Hewitt responding by complaining about the Bureau's insistence on not using "classified terminology" during interrogations of people who "already [knew] the facts". Hewitt further declared an intent to continue pursuing the case despite being suspended, believing the perpetrators to be nothing less than terrorists.[2]

Note[]

In Interrogation Complaint and Eagle Limited Supplement, the interrogator is named Hewitt. (In the latter, the name is redacted but appears underneath in the source text.) However, in Suspect Interrogation, another related Collectible, the interrogator gives his name as Guthrie instead. It is uncertain whether they are meant to be the same character.
