Malcolm Milosz was a Threshold Safety Inspector for the Federal Bureau of Control.
Biography[]
Milosz was responsible for inspecting Thresholds within the Oldest House to determine how to mitigate any risks they posed to Bureau staff. During a weekly inspection of the Quarry Threshold, he entered the Black Rock Quarry to discover that all the workers in the quarry were aligned in an unknown state and were all staring at the City in the distance of the Quarry Threshold. When attempts to bring them back to their senses failed, he was forced to use an unspecified action, which finally succeeded.
In the aftermath of the incident, Milosz filed a report recommending that work crews in a Threshold area should shorten their shifts or schedule weekly psychological tests - or preferably both. He also noted the possibility of sending another expedition to investigate the city.[1]
Milosz and Jim Bozer also planned to play a game of golf together at 7:00 AM on a Sunday. Jim, confirming this, asked Malcolm whether he had heard about or had any information on the Tennyson Report's author, whom Director Trench was furiously seeking.[2]
