Odin Anderson who named himself after the Norse god Odin was an individual that was involved with two Bright Fall AWE. He and Tor are aged members of a rock group called the Old Gods of Asgard.

Biography[]

1976 Bright Falls AWE[]

On the day of the flooding, the rock band was rehearsing in a field outside the Anderson Farm, the homestead of the band members, Odin admitted to being in a heavy state of inebriation at the time, having spent "days" drinking their home-brewed moonshine while celebrating Deerfest. He and Tor both fought and "valiantly defeated" a "dark army of the scratching hag" rising from Cauldron Lake. When Sheriff Breaker arrived he saw that the band members were alive but in need of medical aid, Tor had been struck by lightning and Odin had cut out his own right eye.

2010 Bright Falls AWE[]

Odin and Tor both ended undergoing treatment at Emil Hartman's Cauldron Lake Lodge clinic as they both have/suffer from dementia, but still keep their spirits up and keep in their rock god personas. When Alan Wake arrives the brothers tell Alan he has to go to their farm to figure out what to do next. When the power goes out, they start behaving in an unruly manner, angered by Hartman's attempts to exploit the residents of the lodge and his lack of attention to the dark presence threat. They later manage to find their way out, leading a group of the lodge's former patients.

After the Bright Falls incident[]

The Anderson brothers returned to the musical world as the Old Gods of Asgard with their Return tour. During this time they were managed by Barry Wheeler and wrote the song "Balance Slays the Demon." Eventually, Barry couldn't take the brothers' extreme partying and, worried for their health, cancelled the remainder of the Return tour. After this, Barry paid for the Valhalla nursing home to be founded for the brothers in 2014.
