A Place of Power is a location that has been acted upon by paranatural forces. Places of Power operate under their own internal logic and do not obey the laws of our reality. Places of Power can be created in Altered World Events, and like most paranatural phenomena, they appear to be the result of forces from alternate dimensions affecting our own. The Federal Bureau of Control makes it a point to investigate Places of Power across the world.
The headquarters of the Federal Bureau of Control, the Oldest House, is a Place of Power. Places of Power are also notable because they can hold Objects of Power, which is likely why the FBC chose to make the Oldest House its headquarters.
The Oceanview Motel is another example of a Place of Power.
