Spare Footage is one of the Collectibles in Control. It is a collection of stock footage clips of Dr. Carla Vaughn and Dr. Hubert Tan, with no dialogue lines. Dr. Casper Darling also makes an appearance.

The video begins with Hubert at a console and Carla with a soldering iron, conducting lab work and taking several looks at the camera. About forty seconds in, it cuts to a clip of Hubert and Carla standing together shoulder to shoulder and smiling for the camera before they separate. Hubert begins to use a clipboard while Carla walks around, with Hubert glancing at her. The camera is often not focused on either of them. After another forty seconds, the camera cuts to a clip of Dr. Darling playing with a Newton's cradle while Carla uses a console in the background. Carla turns to look several times.

This Collectible can be found in the Containment Sector during the side mission A Matter of Time. It will be playing on a projector screen in a room in the Sealed Threshold Checkpoint area and will be automatically obtained when passing through.
